Biography

Jim joined Spire in 2017 and brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has a passion for helping hard-working advisors in the independent BD/RIA channel. He also has extensive experience in private wealth management, retail brokerage, and fee-based money management. Jim served five years in the U.S. Marine Corps and was awarded the NATO Medal for service in the liberation of the former Yugoslavia. He had the unique honor of serving alongside the Israeli Defense Force and the British Royal Marines. A native upstate New Yorker, Jim has lived south of the Mason-Dixon Line for over 25 years. Along with his wife and their two daughters, they have proudly called the City of Fairfax their home since 2013. Outside of work, Jim is an active member in his local community. He currently serves on the board of the City of Fairfax Theatre Company. He’s also been known to appear on stage if duty calls, playing alongside his youngest daughter in company productions of The Music Man and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
